Technical analysis comprises roughly 10% of the actual strategies. While I pay attention to technicals, my strategies are based on the belief that stocks represent a fractional ownership in a company. Because of this, the strategies are based on fundamental analysis. Good fundamental research is the first layer of risk management.
Trading won’t make you rich. It can provide an income and compound your money over time. Positions take time to play out so I coach as a job. I’m passionate about teaching and would be doing this whether I was rich or not.
